Trust Fund

Trust Funds have been set up for the recently fallen CFB Shilo soldiers Cpl. Paul Davis and Master Cpl. Tim Wilson. The funds are set up in their family names. Donations can be made at any Westoba Credit Union location in person or by mail.

Humanitarian Aid

Currently various humanitarian aid organizations are collecting donations on behalf of the people of war torn countries. Due to shipping and distribution challenges, we encourage you to donate monies rather than items. Donating funds not only contributes to the people by providing what they need, but also contributes to rebuilding their local economy. Funds may be donated to the Red Cross or aid organization of your choice.

Yellow Ribbon Campaign

Although yellow ribbons can be displayed year round to support our troops, this fall Mid-August through Mid-September, yellow ribbons will welcome home the troops currently in Afghanistan.

Yellow ribbon products; magnets for the bumper of your car, rubber bracelets and pins are available for purchase in Brandon at the Brandon Chamber of Commerce or in Shilo at the Military Family Resource Centre. All proceeds go to the Shilo Military Family Resource Centre.
